2008 was a good year for brewing. I got some great feedback from homebrew competitions, won some awards, and even got a best in show for a Kolsh, which was surprising for that beer style. I was awarded "Homebrewer of the Year" by my club, Pacific Gravity. That was cool. This year I hope to get a medal in the national competition. We'll see how it goes!

2007 was all about getting my equipment and process together. I won a few awards, some 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons, including a best in show. But, I was not 100% happy with the consistency of my results. 2008 is all about perfecting the process, continuing to refine classic beer styles, and getting more professional feedback.
